Bioflex Open Nose Ring - These Bioflex Open Nose Rings are softer and more forgiving than steel ones. The small disc rests discretely inside the nostril with most of the ring showing. It is a great alternative to other nose jewellery. Available in 0.8 and 1.0mm gauge with either a 7 or 9mm internal diameter. TDi Body Jewellery also stock Open Nose Rings in other materials.
There are 2 international standards for autoclaving Bioflex:
1. Temperature 121 Degrees Celsius at pressure 15 pounds per square inch for 15 minutes.
2. Temperature 134 Degrees Celsius at pressure 32 pounds per square inch for 3 minutes.
Exceeding this can result in deformation.
NB: You cannot sterilise Bioflex in a dry heat autoclave. You need a steam sterilisation process with water.
